Zoning Bylaw Revisions

Alpine Consultants is responsible for a comprehensive zoning bylaw rewrite to modernize the Lillooet zoning bylaw. The goal of the modernization is to address common issues applicants experience, loosen certain land-use limitations, and create a more permissive bylaw that allows higher density.

Alpine has taken a stakeholder first approach to the project, integrating changes to the bylaw based on feedback from staff, as well as from parties such as the Lillooet Chamber of Commerce.

Alpine prepared and executed a public engagement process including an on-site open house. In addition, Alpine brought the bylaw through first and second reading. Alpine works collaboratively with Lillooet staff to prepare deliverables.  

Expected completion is in the fourth Quarter of 2025.
